Terms

Terms of use.

Short, and in the same language as the rest of the site.

What this service is

AIOSeniors provides general information about programs, benefits and services that may be available to older adults and their families, along with the official source and the date we read it.

What this service is not

Nothing on this site is medical, legal, financial or insurance advice. We do not diagnose conditions, recommend treatment, or provide clinical opinions. We do not provide legal representation or financial planning.

We are not a government agency, not an insurer, and not affiliated with Medicare, Medicaid, the Social Security Administration, the Department of Veterans Affairs or any state or county agency.

We do not determine eligibility

This is the important one. The agency that runs a program decides who qualifies for it. We tell you what a rule appears to say and when we read it. That is a screening aid, not a determination, and a result here is never a guarantee of acceptance.

Program rules, income limits and funding change, sometimes without notice. Confirm anything you intend to rely on with the agency directly.

Accuracy

We work hard to get this right: every claim is read from an official source and dated, and we would rather show nothing than show a guess. Even so, sources change, and errors are possible. If you find something wrong, please tell us at [email protected] and we will correct it.

The service is provided as is, without warranty. To the extent permitted by law, AIOSeniors is not liable for decisions made on the basis of information found here. Please verify with the agency before acting.

Emergencies

This service is not built for emergencies and does not monitor anything. If someone is in danger or needs urgent medical help, call 911.

Using the site

Use it for its purpose: finding help for yourself or a family member. Do not attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at volume, or misrepresent it as an official government service.

Third party sites

We link to official sources so you can check our work. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their availability.

Changes

These terms change when the service changes, in the same release.

Email we send you

If you ask for your plan, you get it by email, plus a small number of follow-ups about the programmes in it. Every one carries a working one click unsubscribe, and using it stops all of them permanently. One of those emails is an advertisement for Family Observatory and it says so on its face. We do not send anything else, and we never pass your address to anyone to send you something.

Who we are, and what we are not

AIOSeniors is operated by Digilu. We are not a government agency, not an insurer, not a healthcare provider, and not a covered entity under HIPAA. We are not your attorney, your financial adviser or your insurance broker. Nothing here creates any of those relationships.

Age

This service is for adults. Please do not use it if you are under 18.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of California.

Plain about what this is. These terms describe how the service actually behaves and were checked against the code. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer. If something here matters to you and looks wrong, email us and we will look again.
